The naming and delivery ceremony of the new 1800TEU container ship "Hainan Changde" built by SITC International at the Yellow Sea Shipbuilding was successfully held

On the morning of May 31 , 2024 , Haifeng International and Huanghai Shipbuilding held a grand naming and delivery ceremony for the new ship "Haifeng Changde".

Mr. Yang Shaopeng, the lifetime honorary chairman of SITC International, and his wife, Mr. Zhao Jianping, the chairman of Huanghai Shipbuilding, Mr. Cheng Guanghui and Ms. Song Yali, the former member of the Standing Committee of the Shandong Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, the director of the Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Overseas Chinese Affairs Committee, the chairman and party secretary of Hualu Holding Group, and his wife, Mr. Yu Xiaoning, the vice chairman of the Shandong Federation of Industry and Commerce, the chairman and president of Dawn Group, Mr. Gong Mingjie and Ms. Liu Guizhi, the chairman of Longda Food Group Co., Ltd. and his wife, Mr. Yan Weiguo and Ms. Geng Yiyi, as well as leaders and guests from all parties attended the ceremony.

At the ceremony, Mr. Ji Wenguang, President of SITC Shipping, delivered a speech on behalf of the shipowner, Ms. Liu Guizhi named the ship, Ms. Geng Yiyi, the godmother of the new ship, cut the mooring and threw champagne, and Mr. Cheng Guanghui gave his blessing. The guests wished the new ship to ride the wind and waves, reach the destination with full cargo, set off safely, and return with full load every time.

The "Haifeng Changde" is the first ship in the 1800TEU series built by Haifeng International Shipbuilding in the Yellow Sea . After its delivery today, the ship will soon be put into Haifeng's operating routes to provide customers with better and more efficient services.
