The garden is full of spring, the foundation is evergreen, and we are walking together with a healthy earth--A briefing on the tree planting activities in Haifeng Dalian area in 2024

The breeze is gentle in March, the grass is growing and the orioles are flying. On March 30, 2024, SITC’s employees in Dalian gathered at Dalian Lushun Hualiang Peony Garden to carry out a tree planting activity with the theme of “The garden is filled with spring scenery and the foundation is evergreen, and we are walking together for a healthy earth”.

Before the activity started, colleagues had a better understanding of the techniques and significance of tree planting through popular science explanations by garden staff. The tree planting activities are divided into 6 groups by drawing lots. Colleagues shoveled the soil with shovels, helped trees and soil, stepped on the soil, carried water for watering, and cooperated tacitly, creating a busy scene. The cheers turned into energy, and the sweat turned into fruits. Through everyone's joint efforts, red maples and crabapples stood tall and tall, adding a colorful touch to Dalian in early spring.

Everyone planted trees to form a forest. This tree planting activity not only got close to nature, cultivated sentiments, but also enhanced team collaboration and cohesion, and jointly built Haifeng's foundation to last forever. At the same time, it is also a vivid practice for Haifeng people to integrate the concepts of green environmental protection and sustainable development into their actions.
