SKT6 route opens direct service to Higashi-Naka

At 11 a.m. on February 1, 2024 , the Hitachi Port Promotion Association held a commemorative ceremony to "Celebrate SITC Direct Shipping Calling Service" at the terminal. Mr. Otani, President of the Hitachinaka Port Promotion Association and Mayor of Hitachinaka City, relevant personnel from the Port Bureau of the Ministry of Civil Engineering and Construction of Ibaraki Prefecture, and customer representatives attended the event.

Hitachi Naka Port is located in Ibaraki Prefecture in the Kanto region of Japan. It is the 15th port that SITC has directly called on Japan routes. SITC's SKT6 route connects Shanghai Port, Taicang Port and Hitachi Naka Port. It not only provides customers in the region with fast and efficient direct shipping services, but also provides connections with Thailand, Vietnam, India and other Asian ports through transit in Shanghai.
