SITC Tianjin "one order system" sea-rail intermodal train opened

On May 18 , 2023 , SITC Tianjin's "one order system" sea-rail intermodal train was officially opened . The first batch of containers departed from the South Cargo Terminal of Yinchuan Freight Center, and took the SITC liner via Tianjin Port to Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh Port and Malaysia’s Port of Klang.

SITC Tianjin cooperates with Tianjin Port and Tianjin Foreign Agency to provide a series of convenient measures such as "one order system" and "railway box launching" for inland customers, so as to realize the seamless connection between railway and sea-going ships. This move can effectively reduce the additional logistics costs of inland enterprises due to the circulation of documents, cargo inversion and transshipment, and at the same time save the cost of long-distance transportation of sea containers and greatly improve the timeliness of cargo turnover.

In the future, SITC Tianjin will rely on its own shipping network and the advantages of Tianjin Port sea-rail combined transport to actively expand its export transportation business in Southeast Asia and provide customers with more convenient and faster multimodal transport services.
